"My father led me to Christ at a young age, and made sure I was in church every week. Through some difficult experiences when I was about 16 my faith really became my own. I was forced into some very public hardship, and God did some miraculous things in my life which were so personalized to me that I was convinced of his faithfulness. I bought my first bible through this experience and I will still frequently use that bible today. I attended college at Evangel University in Springfield, MO. Originally I intended to enter full time ministry, but after my freshman year I really felt I was supposed to be in education. It has allowed me to use my God-given talents more readily on a day-to-day basis."
